From 2D to 3D, and no Hiccups

Wings 3D, sometimes, Blender, too, and I bet, a lot of other 3D programs,  have a funny way to import 2D vector Graphics, if they involve inner shapes that, in theory, would become holes on a 3D plate:

This is what turns up on Wings3D:

A hole-less plate, right, and 2 solid objects, up and left!

Here’s the 2 buggers:

Now, it looks as the Program loses the inner part’s coordinates, and so, I’ve developed a brute-force solution:

You snip the piece into the holes, Path-Boolean- Difference), so now, no way, the coordinates get lost…

And it imports to Wings3D, like clockwork!

With those cuts, but you just erase the cut’s inner faces, and then, with the erased faces still selected, do Faces-Bridge.

One less problem, and thus, I’m translating the plate  ElastomatiK into 3D!
